I just noticed something the other day while shopping at the local Wal-Mart. They have jeans for $8.00 a pair. But, if you want a pair of shorts, they are $9.00 a pair. Why should half a pair of pants cost a buck more than the whole thing?
(These are the kind of things that one ponders at my age....)
